“Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance” ~Coco Chanel
Fallon jewellery throws Coco Chanel’s words under a pile of diamantes and leather and stomps on them.
Respectfully stomped, simplicity expires gracefully and leaves the room.
Thankfully elegance and attitude stay, sipping champagne with a giggle. Simplicity was a bit of a bore anyways, and it’s time to ride these millenial times of overtly opulent fashion. More is more these days and Fallon knows how to deliver.
More bling, more attitude, more layering.
Rhianna is a fan, Vogue is on the phone and I’ve tripped over my swooning heart and fallen face first in love with their boldly studded Classique collection. Don’t bother looking for Fallon Classique on consignment, I’ve bought it all. And if you find any pieces left then damn you for buying them before I could.
Modern Nouveau Bourgeois Chic
Fallon is punk statement bling for today.
Designer Dana Lorenz birthed her genius brand Fallon in 2008 and it’s one of those rare labels that feels like it will represent an era. We’ll groggily become aware of this when hindsight hits and our technology hangovers start to wear off, revealing the grim realisation that Fallon was one of the only good fashion purchase decisions we made all decade.
As a firm believer in fabulous accessories with great basics, the fact you can wear multiple Fallon items at the same time is just brilliant. Designed to be mixed, layered and ostentatious without the price tag, pop queen of OTT Rhianna is a regular wearer and apparently custom pieces are in the hands of Beyonce, Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Sarah Jessica Parker and other celebby fabulistas.
Layering. All the things. Anytime. Every day.
What I love most about Fallon is the quality. The weight and the luxury of pieces hit the sweet spot of fine jewellery ‘look and feel’ with prices in the hundreds instead of thousands. Because we’re not bloody billionaires despite the fast fashion industry wanting us to spend like we are. We need quality items that epitomise our statements of personality, and for some the perfect fit will be Fallon.
