Every fashionista has a pair (or ten) of Giuseppe Zanotti heels in their wardrobe. Graceful, elegant and dramatic, eyes will never go unturned when one is strutting in Zanotti’s.
I recall time after time strolling through luxury department stores and finding that the first shoes I picked up repeatedly turned out to be Zanotti’s. Feminine, flamboyant and surprisingly comfortable for their height, the collection boasts styles that can be worn day, night or to fashion week and look typically trendsetting.
The embellished booties are especially hot sellers with many going out of stock quickly, so if you’ve got your eye on something (Charleston bootie, anyone?) then be sure to snatch it up to avoid disappointment. Many items of the collections are available in multiple colours including black and blush, with some pieces also in stunning metallic or prints.
With sculptural jewelled heels and a recent collaboration with Jennifer Lopez, the Italian designer (who rather impressively wholly owns his eponymous company, unlike Jimmy Choo or Christian Louboutin) is a mainstay of the ornate footwear fashion scene, with cult shoes like Cruel staying updates and in demand season after season. Site-wide sales pop up through the year – notably around Thanksgiving, sticking around towards Christmas, so keep an eye out for some rather large discounts even on popular pieces.
But wait, there’s more – not just shoes to love but sneakers and bags to match, many embellished with his glorious signature logo (one of the few that I really love). It’s possible to be a full Zanotti girl, dressed in jeans and a slouchy white blouse with just Zanotti’s heels and bag to accessorise. And still look full fashionista. Not many brands can make that claim. Not well, anyways.
The 2018 season of Giuseppe Zanotti designs is promisingly bling, with some of my favourite picks being the Charlston, Jennifer Lopez collaboration Puchi and the pretty Gerti booties. Bootie loving much?
Metallic prints on pochette bags and crystal encrusted purses adorn the site, many with steep discounts alluringly asking for purchase.
The rather intense FW17/18 ad campaigns with Bella Hadid are a bit full on (okay, not as unnerving as anything Nika Danielska) but capture the aggressive confidence needed to pull off wearing many of this seasons shoes. I’ve created an entire list of my 2018 GZ picks over on Corsets & Couture’s PINTEREST (follow for updates). My favourite pieces are the three top bootie picks above and some of the most delicious clutches and accessories are listed there with links to the site.
Rest assured, 2018 is a season of Zanotti that we’ll want to be on board for.
